Each person has a different skin type thus the method of caring for the skin may vary depending on the skin type. The first thing you have to know is the type of skin that you have. The common types of skin are normal, oily, dry sensitive or sun damaged skin. Each of these skin types has different approach in skin care. However, we have 4 basic routines that all of the skin type can do as this can help in maintaining the beauty of the skin.
The cleanser used has to be good on your skin. No need to buy expensive ones. Avoid using bar soaps; they can dry up the skin. Soaps should only be used from the neck down. A creamy cleanser will work with dry skin while a clear one works best with oily skin. Cleansing at night is recommended. For dry skin, a cold cream can be used and you just have to apply it then wipe it off no need for water. Use lukewarm water if you have to use water in cleansing
Using scrubs, it can remove top layer of dead skin cells that can make your face look dull. Using gentle scrubs with tiny grains are recommended and it has to be done at least once a week to have a glooming skin year round.
Moisturizer seals the moisture on the skin. Even oily skin needs to be moisturized but not too much as it can clog up pores. You can use eye creams if necessary to avoid wrinkles.
The most important part of the skin care routine is the sunscreen. The rays of the sun can cause wrinkles. Experts even recommend using sunscreen even rainy and cloudy days to protect the face from the harmful sun light. The sunscreen has to have Mexoryl or Helioplex to get the best protection
