Sensitive Skin Care Those with sensitive skin have to be really careful with what they use on their skin. Those changes can be weather changes, and foreign materials like skin care products or make-up coming in contact with skin. All theses factors cause irritation of skin.

All types of skin can be harmed beyond certain limit. The limit for sensitive skin is very low. So it tends to get damaged quicker when compared to any other skin types. It is very important for people with sensitive skin to choose their products with a lot of care. They have to make sure that the product they are using is suitable for their skin. If the product does not suit their skin it can have a bad effect.

Results will be visible on skin instantly. Always make sure that the product reads or is labeled “For Sensitive Skin”. When choosing a product for sensitive skin, look for the ones which have minimum preservatives, coloring and addictives. Also read all the instructions and warning before applying product on any part of your skin.

While doing basic face care like cleansing, toning and moisturizing, make sure all products are for sensitive skin. Dry Skin Care Dry Skin is very easy to notice as the skin surface appears dry and it even flakes. People with dry skin often face tightening of skin, especially during weather changes, or many times after having a bath. This is due to the presence of less oil in the skin. Therefore dry skin needs moisturizing.

Dry skin is more prone to wrinkles as a result of tightening. Regular moisturizing can prevent wrinkles.

The most important thing for maintenance of dry skin care is to moisturize the whole body with a good body lotion every day after shower. Also make sure that the soap used for bathing has high moisture content in it. Most of the bathing soaps or bathing lotions available commercially will say on the cover “Creamy Body Lotion”, or something which says it has lot of moisture content. These are good ones to use especially because they will not make your skin dry after bathing. Applying a good amount of moisturizer after bath can result to a smooth skin.

This skin care routine must be followed especially in winter as it has adverse effects on dry skin. When choosing creams or lotion makes sure these creams are skin friendly and do not lead to any other kind of side effects on skin. Always buy creams which are based on natural hypo- allergic ingredients and make sure it reads “DRY to NORMAL”.
